Between the airy, silk draping, the bride's chic bohemian look, and all the layers of enviable decor accents, we're loving the way this project brings a fresh palette and some fun ideas to the table; ideal for inspiring brides + grooms who are planning a day that's both stylish + unique.
Stylist, Margaux, of Harmony Creative Studio tells us more, The ranch-like setting and open meadow of new venue Oak Canyon Ranch in Agoura Hills, California was the perfect 'tranquil' setting. With several different ceremony and reception locations to choose from, it allowed us so much creative freedom! We choose to have our ceremony under a fantastic natural arch in one of the many majestic oak trees on the property, draping ivory silk contrasted with a gorgeous purple vintage rug from Pretty Vintage Rentals (who also supplied our fabulous lounge set-up, how great is that lilac sofa!), for a dramatic yet romantic backdrop.
Tulaloo Stationery Studio got things started off on the right foot with a pretty watercolor-esque suite that was perfectly on palette.
And we adore this pink, mauve and lilac bouquet Shindig Chic designed for the shoot. Want to carry something similar for your big day? Ask your florist for peonies, ranunculus, anemones, lilac, roses, veronica + olive branch!

We love variations on popular drinks, so we included a few signature drinks enjoyed in the lounge! His: 'Raspberry Moscow Mule' with Vodka, Fresh Lime Juice, Raspberries + Ginger Beer. Hers: 'Blackberry Harmony' with Blackberries, Lemon Gin + Tonic.

The soft linen napkins and delicate silk hung behind the table were the perfect soft touch to the geometric terrariums, copper chargers and beautiful florals. We also played off the succulents in the floral design and used potted succulents as escort cards, a super easy DIY project using wood pots from the Target craft section, and painting patterns with copper paint.
