Everyone is familiar with the margarita. Typically when we think of tequila cocktails, it's the first that comes to mind. But what about its equally delicious (and powerful) sister the paloma? Containing grapefruit soda, lime juice and, of course, tequila, this little concoction is packed with flavor - and it just looks so refreshing! Keeping on our cocktail-inspired makeup series, we decided to dedicate our second look to this exotically tasty drink, especially after we discovered an über-delicious recipe from Just Eat Life (featured on our fave foodie site and app Tastemade). Check out how makeup artist Tara Shakespeare recreated the paloma into a spicy look we know you'll love!

1. Apply primer and foundation. Add some warmth to the face by brushing bronzer onto the forehead, cheek hollows and chin line. Using an angled eyeliner brush, apply a thin line of black cream- or gel-based liner along the top lash line. Shakespeare opted for Lancôme Liner Design in Black Fishnets. Swipe on a lengthening mascara that will give eyes exaggerated length and definition (we suggest Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara).

With a small lip brush, swipe on an 2. Using a beauty blender, work a coral cream blush like Yves Saint Laurent Créme De Blush in Bright Coral into the apples of the cheeks. To make the blush pop, Shakespeare added Lancôme Fard-A-Joue Blush from the Blush Subtil Palette as a second coat.
