Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

Johan decided to have his eyes tested on 10 October 2013, so it happened that I was the Optometrist on duty and like they say... "It was love at first sight."
It took Johan a few weeks to finally ask me out on a date!!! We met for a coffee which went into dinner and that's where the connection started.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

Johan and I love to go out to Cafe Orca in Melkbosstrand (where we had our first date as a couple). I received a message on 10 December 2015 to say that he booked a table for dinner. I was delighted to not have to cook and enjoy my favorite meal at our favorite restaurant.
We arrived there a little earlier than expected, decided to watch the sunset before going in and suddenly he jumped up saying "The time is here" and pulled out the ring as he went down on one knee... So I said "YES". Thereafter we had the best dinner ever!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

It is difficult to pick a most memorable moment but if I should, it would have to be late afternoon as the two of us left our venue (barefoot) and drove towards the beach for our photo shoot... There was a moment where we looked at each other and said: "This is perfect, exactly how we wanted our special day to be."
