Art Deco Hollywood Glamour Feel Timeless Wedding - Whimsical...

via

Oliver and Tuesday wanted a wedding which wouldn't date, which led them to their Art Deco, Hollywood glamour inspired day.

They married on the 30th November 2015 at South Farm in Cambridgeshire; a delightful venue (where I myself have been a guest and it was the setting the first WWW editorial shoot. I can totally vouch for how gorgeous it is).

They kept their day super simple, with simple classic beautiful roses as decoration. The attire was oh so stylish, Tuesday donned Jenny Packham while Oliver went for a dinner suit. Very dapper.

Thanks so much to Luke Hayden for sharing these wonderful photographs.

THE PROPOSAL | We met at uni in Brighton, so we went back to Brighton and Ollie proposed on the beach.

THE VISION | The theme was Art Deco/Hollywood glamour. We wanted it to look the same in 30 years' time - not outdated.

THE PLANNING PROCESS | Once we found the venue (the first we looked at) we just planned everything around that.

BUDGET | £9000

THE VENUE | South Farm, Royston.

THE DRESS & ACCESSORIES | The dress was by Jenny Packham; accessories were from Accessorize.

FINDING THE DRESS | It was in the first shop Tues went in. She specifically went looking for a Jenny Packham dress and found it straight away.

GROOM'S ATTIRE | Ollie just wanted something classic. He bought a two-piece dinner suit from Next and got the shirt and tie from a suit shop in Saffron Walden.

THE READINGS & MUSIC | We didn't want any readings as we wanted the ceremony to be fairly short. We chose the music from our own iTunes collections and then downloaded a few more from iTunes for the party.

BEAUTIFUL BRIDESMAIDS | Tues's maid of honour was best friend, Emma. The bridesmaids were her sisters, Skye and Indigo.

THE FLOWERS | A mix of roses and ivy.

THE CAKE | Tues's nan made us a three-tiered, part-fruit part-sponge cake.

YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER | Luke Hayden. As soon as we saw his photos we knew we had to have him take ours.

THE DETAILS & DÉCOR | The venue was amazing on its own, so we didn't add too much. We had flowers, candles and some graphics in the table centres.

THE HONEYMOON | We have a two-year-old daughter, so we are going with her to Disneyland in Florida in June.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS | The bride buying everyone shots (not the bar bill the next day).

Our daughter going off to bed and then re-appearing in her sleep suit on the dance floor running around in circles.

Having all of our friends and family from all over the country - and from far abroad - being in one place.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES | Don't feel like you have to stick with tradition: we didn't have a first dance or a set meal and we still had a great time.
