The earrings, the coats, the pink tweed, the grassy greens. The slinky dresses, the bold silver jewels. The slouchy trousers, the gowns. The shoes!

And not just the ones on the runway, either-the crowd at Designer Preview always brings their own parade (just check out that front row below)-and this past Thursday night on the Seattle waterfront was an ultra-inspiring mix of what's hot now, what's hot on the horizon, and what's just hot no matter the season.

Missed it? Loved it-and just want to relive it? Our 50-image lookbook detailing everything from the start of the party to the trunk show the next day is just the eye candy you need.

By 6:30pm, arrivals were underway. Each Designer Preview begins with a cocktail hour or two wherein old and new friends meet up amid gallery-like racks and mannequins of the coming season's best from designers like Miu Miu, Dries Van Noten, Stella McCartney and more.

Gathered inside hot pink soccer netting, SPACE, Nordstrom's shop for emerging and advanced designers, showed off the most exciting looks from designers such as Simone Rocha, Shrimps and Vetements.

We were excited to welcome SPACE designers Daniela Villegas (those are her amazing Ferragamos above, and there she is talking to Olivia Kim in the image above that) and Amanda Phelan (below, holding a champagne glass), who talked with shoppers about their work, their collections and their everyday lives.

another of our big must-haves for the season ahead

The pre- and post-runway shopping parties also included a Men's boutique.

And then, after a cocktail or two and a snack or two, it's time for the main event. Our runway shows are like mini versions of what happens during Fashion Week; we show our favorite styled looks from each designer. Here's a glimpse of how a few of those scenes looked, and a couple of backstage moments, too.

And then the shopping really begins. In terms of fuel for an obsession, there's nothing quite like seeing fall's most essential looks live and in action.

But all good things must come to an end, and as the sun set on Seattle we lit up our name and said goodbye-but just for the evening.

The next morning we were back in what is affectionately known as Store 1, offering one last exclusive look at these early fall releases. Daniela and Amanda joined us once again in SPACE-Daniela with her watercolors and sketch pad-and now we're officially in the throes of that can't-wait feeling.

Cool days, foggy mornings, colorful leaves? Statement coats; pink tweed; rich, grassy greens? Bring 'em on.
